Zionists’ systematic crimes against cancer patients in Gaza.
While under the oppressive siege imposed on the Gaza Strip by the Zionist regime, and in parallel with this regime’s brutal war against civilians, basic medicines and medical equipment are running out in Gaza, cancer patients are one of the most prominent victims of these Zionist crimes.
In this context, last night, the Palestinian Center for Human Rights warned in a report about the occupation regime’s insistence on continuing to deprive cancer patients of the right to treatment inside and outside Gaza, and emphasized that by destroying the Turkish hospital that specializes in treating cancer patients, the Zionists destroyed the hope of more than 12,500 cancer patients to receive specialized medical services inside Gaza. Also, by restricting their travel outside Gaza, 91 percent of these patients do not have the opportunity to receive services abroad, which means they are facing death.
Spread of Cancer Patients’ Mortality in Gaza
The Palestinian Center for Human Rights reported that during the one and a half year of the occupation regime’s genocidal war against Gaza, hundreds of cancer patients lost their lives due to lack of medical services, and currently, about 2,700 cancer patients are in a very serious condition and their access to medical centers outside Gaza has been prohibited by the occupation forces.
