Al-Quds Al-Arabi: Trump loses to Iran again

Iran

PNN – With a combination of its amazing patience and resistance, Iran succeeded in breaking Trump’s extreme arrogance and narcissism and making his words about absolute victory look ridiculous.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper, in a report referring to the successive failures of US President Donald Trump’s plans against Iran, wrote that no one is surprised by Trump’s contradictions and games anymore.

The report, stating that no event has exposed the platitudes of the “Trump Circus” more than the war on Iran, emphasized that Trump completely contradicted his position in 48 hours. About a week ago, he enthusiastically announced his plan, called “Project Freedom” in the Strait of Hormuz. On the first day of the operation, he claimed that two commercial ships under the US flag had passed through, and American sources enthusiastically announced that this number had increased to three ships. According to the newspaper, although this figure was very small compared to the movement of ships and tankers before the war, which was about 150 ships per day, Iranian sources completely denied the passage of any ship under American protection and announced that any violation of the rules of passage and the mechanism established by Tehran would result in fire.

Al-Quds Al-Arabi adds that the available images confirmed the truth of Iran’s narrative and caused Trump to reverse his position and announce the suspension of the “Freedom Project”. This also happened after European and Asian countries refused to join the war in the Strait of Hormuz. At the same time, Trump tried to cover his withdrawal with another political project; therefore, he claimed that the negotiations with Iran had reached an agreement.

According to the report, the agreement was not about resolving the Strait of Hormuz crisis, but about stopping the entire war. According to the formula published by American news sites in Axios and elsewhere and then presented by international news agencies citing Pakistani intermediary sources, the agreement in its general framework seemed closer to Iran’s point of view. Iran had previously expressed its readiness to reopen the Strait of Hormuz under new conditions and rejected the US insistence on a permanent halt to nuclear enrichment. In addition, it had announced its opposition to the elimination of Iran’s nuclear facilities and reactors and the delivery of about 450 kilograms of uranium enriched to more than 60 percent to Washington.

According to Al-Quds Al-Arabi, the Iranians, with a combination of their amazing patience and resistance, both in the forty-day war and in the political arenas and negotiations after the ceasefire, succeeded in breaking Trump’s extreme pride and narcissism and making his words about absolute victory look ridiculous. No significant victory was achieved for the US or the Israeli regime in this war and the negotiations that followed, and the people were not fooled by the game of censorship of the losses suffered by the US and Israel in the war.

A few days ago, the American network CNN published a sensational four-minute visual report that documented the success of Iranian forces in almost completely destroying 16 American bases in eight countries and destroying advanced radars, refueling aircraft, and AWACS interceptor aircraft on the ground. The CNN report, mocking the claims of Trump and his Secretary of War, Pete Hegsett, revealed that the lowest estimate for the cost of this war is over $50 billion, and that the figure announced by Trump and Hegsett about $25 billion is incorrect.

According to Al-Quds Al-Arabi, Trump and his generals tried to get past the controversy by announcing Operation “Project Freedom” and exaggerating the naval blockade imposed on Iranian ports, but this time, no sane person believed him.

Al-Quds Al-Arabi emphasized that the obvious truth is that the Iranian regime has become more coherent and powerful after the assassination of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and that Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the new leader of Iran, is managing the war and the negotiations that follow. This trend indicates better alignment in Iranian governance and the priority of the new leader’s decision.
