PNN – A member of Yemen’s national delegation described the escalation of Saudi attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure as a cover for the country’s military failure.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Abdul-Malik al-Ajri, a member of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, stated that the intensified Saudi attacks on civilians and civilian facilities are an attempt to conceal the country’s military defeats.
He characterized the Saudi regime’s targeting of markets, bridges, and residential homes as a means of terrorizing citizens and a form of collective punishment.
Stating that markets are not battlefields and civilians are not targets, Al-Ajri warned that such actions would not go unanswered.
Earlier today, a Saudi F-15 fighter jet carried out two airstrikes on a market in the Mafraq Mawiyah area of Taiz, resulting in the death or injury of at least 50 civilians.
