Al-Qassam announced the martyrdom of “Al-Yazouri,” commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade.

PNN – The Al-Qassam Brigades have confirmed the martyrdom of Muhammad Abd al-Salam al-Yazouri, a member of the Military Council and commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades—the military wing of the Hamas movement—issued a statement on Friday confirming the martyrdom of Muhammad Abd al-Salam al-Yazouri, known as “Abu Haitham.”

The statement noted that the martyr Muhammad Abd al-Salam al-Yazouri was a member of the Al-Qassam Military Council and the commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade; he was martyred during the Zionist regime’s attacks last night.

Al-Qassam emphasized that the martyr Al-Yazouri played a prominent role in planning the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation and had survived multiple assassination attempts throughout his journey.

The Al-Qassam statement noted that, during his path of Jihad, the martyr Abu Haitham held various command positions within the Khan Yunis Brigade—ranging from commander of the Khan Yunis Central Battalion to brigade intelligence commander, commander of the Weapons and Services Battalion, deputy brigade commander, and ultimately, commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade.

In concluding the statement, the Al-Qassam Brigades offered condolences on the martyrdom of this commander and reaffirmed their commitment to the path of the martyrs, declaring that thousands of commanders and fighters would continue this journey until “the land and holy sites are cleansed of the vile occupiers.”
