According to the report of Pakistan News Network; The Arab League issued a statement on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian Media, stating that this occasion serves as an opportunity to recall the widespread dangers and violations that Palestinian journalists and media institutions face.
According to a report by Palestine Today, the statement emphasized that Decision No. 508 of the Council of Arab Ministers of Information designated this day with the aim of drawing global attention to the continued policies and systematic violations of the Zionist regime against Palestinian journalists and media institutions.
The Arab League statement stated that the Palestinian territories have become one of the most dangerous and critical areas in the world for media and journalism due to the increase in the number of violations and actions by the Zionist regime.
The Arab League further emphasized the importance of solidarity with the Palestinian media to counter efforts to disrupt the activities of journalists and prevent the transmission of field realities to the world public opinion, and called on international and regional media and human rights institutions to take effective and efficient measures to ensure the safety of Palestinian journalists, stop targeting and prosecuting them, and prevent the destruction of Palestinian media infrastructure.
The assassination of journalists and media personnel since the beginning of the Zionist regime’s genocidal war against the Gaza Strip is part of the Zionist regime’s systematic crimes against civilian teams, with the aim of concealing the truth and preventing the regime’s crimes from being exposed to the world.
Despite months having passed since the start of the war against the Gaza Strip, the Zionist regime continues its daily attacks, attacks that have mainly targeted civilians, especially women and children.
