Meanwhile, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrow announced on Saturday: I join my Italian counterpart in calling on the European Union to impose sanctions on Ben Gwer (Israeli Minister of Internal Security). Ben Gwer has been banned from entering France due to his unacceptable behavior towards activists on the Samood flotilla.
The French Foreign Ministry had also summoned the Israeli ambassador last Wednesday to protest the treatment of the passengers of the Samood global flotilla.
Earlier, Italy had also summoned the Israeli ambassador over the publication of Itamar Ben-Gwer’s video.
The publication of images of the mistreatment and inhumane treatment of the Israeli Minister of Internal Security and the regime’s military personnel with the detained activists of the Samood flotilla drew global reactions.
