It should be noted that the U.S. Congressional midterm elections began today, Tuesday, November 3, 2026; these are viewed as a referendum on the performance of the terrorist Trump; although the name of Donald Trump—the terrorist U.S. President—does not appear on the ballots, the outcome of these elections could significantly alter the course of the final two years of his presidency.
In this election, Americans will decide whether Republicans will maintain their control over Congress or if Democrats will return to legislative power. In addition to congressional seats, dozens of governorships, thousands of seats in state legislatures, and a range of significant domestic issues are also up for a vote.
The significance of these elections lies in the fact that the head of the terrorist U.S. administration requires the cooperation of Congress to advance many of his agendas. Currently, the Republicans hold both the House of Representatives and the Senate; consequently, control over the legislative process, budget approval, and a significant portion of political and judicial appointments rests with this party. Should the Democrats secure a majority in either or both of these chambers, the political landscape in Washington will shift for the Trump administration.
