China’s 4-point proposal for peace in West Asia

PNN – Chinese President Xi Jinping unveiled his four-point proposal for peace in the West Asian region during a meeting with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Chinese President Xi Jinping presented a four-point proposal to promote peace and stability in the Middle East during a meeting with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Beijing on Tuesday.

Xi called for adhering to the principle of peaceful coexistence, according to the China Daily. He said it is essential to promote the establishment of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security architecture for the Middle East and the Gulf region.

He stressed adherence to the principle of national sovereignty. He said that the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of countries in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region must be fully respected, and the safety of personnel, facilities and institutions of all countries must be effectively safeguarded.

On adherence to the principle of the rule of international law, Xi said that the authority of the rule of international law must be upheld to prevent the world from returning to the law of the jungle.

He said that development and security must be coordinated. All parties must work together to create a favorable environment for the development of the countries of the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region.
