Djibouti: We consider the Houthi attacks to be the defense of Palestinian rights

PNN – Djibouti Foreign Minister Mahmoud Ali Youssef said on Thursday night: We do not condemn the attacks of the Houthis because we consider it to support the rights of the Palestinians.

According to Pakistan News Network, quoted by Qatar’s Al Jazeera network, he said: We refused to participate in the US-led naval coalition in the Red Sea.

At the same time, Ali Yusuf added: Stopping maritime trade in Bab al-Mandab will damage the economy of Djibouti and the countries of the region.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman of the Yemeni National Army, announced on Tuesday night that the operation of the country’s zealous forces against some commercial ships destined for the Zionist regime was successfully carried out.

Saree said: After three warnings, the commercial ship “MSC United” was targeted with a missile.

He added that the armed forces of Yemen have targeted Umm al-Rasrash (Eilat) area in the south of occupied Palestine and several other areas with drones.

Saree considered the purpose of this total operation to support the Palestinian nation and noted: Our operations against Israeli ships or ships bound for occupied Palestinian ports will continue until the restrictions on the transfer of medicine and food to the Gaza Strip are lifted.

Following the attacks of the Zionist regime against the positions of Hamas in Gaza, Yemen has attacked ships operating for Israel in the Red Sea, as a sign of protest against the bombing and destructive aggression of this regime.

Previously, four major shipping companies, including MSC, which is the world’s largest container shipping line, recently announced that they will avoid crossing the Suez Canal following Yemen’s attacks on ships.

The Suez Canal shipping route that leads to the Red Sea is an important waterway for world trade and is used to transfer goods and energy between Europe and Asia and other regions of the world.

This route saves time and money by avoiding the entire African continent.

The forces of the Yemeni army have pledged to continue attacking the ships of this regime in the Red Sea until the Israeli regime does not stop its attacks.
