According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Zionist regime’s “i24 News” network, the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal, citing sources it called informed, revealed: Israel had established a secret base on Iraqi soil at the beginning of the operation against Iran.
The sources, who did not name their names, said the base was established in the Iraqi desert shortly before the start of the operation.
The sources said the area was used as a special forces base and a logistics center for the Israeli Air Force.
The Wall Street Journal, citing its sources, wrote: At the beginning of the war, Israel launched airstrikes against Iraqi forces who were about to learn about the base.
The sources said: Rescue teams were stationed at the base to respond if Israeli fighter jets were shot down.
