According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Ibrahim Al-Moussawi, a member of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” faction in the Lebanese parliament, announced in an interview with Reuters the possibility of achieving a ceasefire in the country.

He said: Iran’s efforts and regional consultations could soon lead to an end to the fighting and a ceasefire.

Earlier, a high-ranking Iranian political and security source told Al-Mayadeen: With Iran’s follow-up and pressure, a ceasefire will be approved in Lebanon starting tonight.

He went on to say that the ceasefire will last for one week and will continue until the end of the ceasefire between Iran and the United States.
