PNN – The Lebanese MP announced that he will pursue what the enemy could not achieve in the field with this agreement.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Ali Mekdad, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance faction in the Lebanese parliament, strongly condemned the shameful agreement between the Lebanese government and the Zionist regime on Sunday, calling it peace with the enemy and emphasizing that this agreement will never be implemented.
The parliamentarian, pointing out that the enemy is pursuing what it could not achieve in the field with this agreement, stated: We have reached a time of misery when a fellow countryman has colluded with the enemy against us.
He stated that the Lebanese people’s response was to refuse to even read this failed document; for at the very moment the government was signing the agreement with the Zionist enemy, six of our compatriots were being martyred by that same enemy.
Criticizing the government’s conduct during the negotiations, the member of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc in the Lebanese parliament remarked that the Israeli delegation was negotiating with itself. He likened this agreement to the “May 17 Agreement,” which never led to peace with the enemy.
Mekdad warned that if the government does not back down from its decisions, it will push the country towards a major crisis. He emphasized that weapons south of the Litani River are a red line and Hezbollah has been working all night to prevent the situation from escalating.
In another part of his remarks, Mekdad, referring to the Iran-US negotiations, emphasized that the Iran-US understanding path guarantees the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy from southern Lebanon. He said that Netanyahu is suffering from the Iran-US agreement.
