Hizam al-Asad, a member of the political bureau of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, announced to Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency that Yemeni armed forces have established full control over the port of Al-Mukha, the strategic island of Mayun (Perim), and all Yemeni islands across the Red Sea.
Yahya Saree Announces Strike on Saudi Combat Unit in Taiz
Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced that Yemeni forces had just successfully targeted a Saudi combat unit in Taiz province using domestically manufactured missiles, forcing them to retreat.
Saree also stated that Saudi enemy warplanes had carried out 64 airstrikes across the provinces of Taiz, Al-Hudaydah, Ma’rib, and Al-Jawf over the past 24 hours.

Yemen Announces End of Clashes along Western Coastal Strip
Yemen’s Supreme Political Council announced the cessation of hostilities in the country’s western coastal areas following the repelling of Saudi-aligned mercenaries, and reaffirmed Yemen’s commitment to the security of navigation in the Red Sea.
In a statement, the Supreme Political Council declared that military clashes along the western coastal strip had ended after the destruction and withdrawal of forces aligned with the Saudi enemy.
The Council also emphasized that Yemen remains committed to all its international obligations regarding navigation in the Red Sea.
Arab media outlets had previously announced that Yemen had gained control over the strategic islands of Zuqar and the Greater and Lesser Hanish in the Red Sea.
Furthermore, according to news sources, Ansarullah fighters and Yemeni armed forces—continuing their sweeping advances against Saudi-backed mercenaries—have consolidated full control over the strategic “Al-Amri” military base, which overlooks the vital Bab al-Mandab Strait.

Abdulsalam: Bab al-Mandab is Safe
Mohammed Abdulsalam, head of Yemen’s negotiating team and spokesperson for Ansarullah, stated that shipping lanes in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait are safe, and that operations by Yemeni armed forces will continue until the aggression ceases and the blockade is completely lifted.
Mohammed Abdulsalam said: Yemen harbors no designs on neighboring countries or other regions of the world; shipping lanes and international trade routes in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait are fully secure from Yemen’s side and face no threats.
He added: The ongoing operations by Yemeni armed forces—as previously announced—are targeted and defensive in nature, and will continue until the Saudi aggression fully stops and the blockade against Yemen is lifted.

Mahdi al-Mashat, head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, stated that the situation in the West Coast regions has stabilized and the issued amnesty decree is being implemented.

According to various sources, following the liberation of the port of Mocha, Yemeni armed forces and Ansarullah targeted positions held by Saudi-led mercenaries on the Zuqar, Lesser Hanish, and Greater Hanish islands—located at the mouth of the Bab al-Mandab Strait—with missile and drone strikes, eventually advancing to liberate these islands as well.
US-Israeli Plot in the Region Thwarted by Liberation of Al-Mukha Port
Yemen’s Deputy Minister of Information emphasized that the will of the Yemeni people triumphed today with the securing of Al-Mukha port, shattering Saudi Arabia’s delusions.
Speaking to the Al-Ahed news outlet, Mohammed Mansour added that the Israeli agenda and the US scheme in the region suffered a defeat with the recapture of Al-Mukha.
He continued: Yemen is our land, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait was under the control of the armed forces even before Al-Mukha was retaken. Yemen’s armed forces are determined to liberate the entire country and restore the rights of its people.
Al-Mansour noted that Arab regimes are gripped by indescribable panic and are revealing themselves to be mere tools of the Zionist regime.
This senior Yemeni official emphasized that the blockade of Yemen would end only when the Emirati and Saudi occupiers withdraw.
The Yemeni Deputy Minister of Information also stated that the covert conflict between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh has come to light, and that victory in Hodeidah represents a victory for the entire Axis of Resistance.
Sanaa’s Defense Minister Visits Newly Liberated Areas; Battle for Yemen’s Liberation Continues
Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi, the Defense Minister of the Sanaa-based government, visited newly liberated areas on Yemen’s west coast, where he emphasized the continued struggle to liberate the country’s remaining territories and vowed that this path would be pursued until the complete liberation of Yemeni land.
The release of images showing Al-Atifi in operational areas has cast doubt on the claims made yesterday regarding his assassination.
Al Jazeera: Why is control of the port of Al-Mukha in Yemen strategically important?
In a report, Al Jazeera stated that the primary objective of Ansarullah and Yemeni armed forces in their recent operation against the self-proclaimed, Saudi-backed government and Saudi mercenaries was the capture of the strategic city of Al-Mukha; controlling this city would allow Yemen to significantly expand its influence along the Bab al-Mandab—a vital route for international shipping and trade.
Ansarullah fighters and Yemeni armed forces are also seeking to sever the supply lines of the Saudi-backed mercenaries, including the road connecting Al-Mukha and Taiz, the routes south of Al-Mukha that sustain these forces, and the supply lines running through the port of Al-Mukha—a key logistical hub for these forces on Yemen’s west coast.
If the capture of Al-Mukha is consolidated, it will deprive these forces of a significant portion of their military and logistical capabilities while simultaneously strengthening the position of Yemeni armed forces near the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
For this reason, Ansarullah fighters and Yemeni armed forces are currently advancing southward from Al-Mukha. Reports indicate that this advance has met with little resistance, as Saudi-backed mercenaries have withdrawn from their positions.
Should this trend continue, Yemeni forces could capture further stretches of the Yemeni coast and move closer to Bab al-Mandab.

Another part of the statement asserts that Yemen has never been, nor will it ever be, a source of threat. The country seeks to establish relations based on mutual respect and is prepared to be part of the regional security architecture.
The Yemeni Foreign Ministry noted: We call upon the international community to objectively examine the course of events and compel the Saudi regime to cease targeting Yemen, violating its sovereignty, and plundering its assets and resources.

Saudi Arabia launches 70 attacks on 6 Yemeni provinces
Saudi fighter jets have carried out 70 airstrikes in several provinces in the past few hours, the official Yemeni news agency Saba said.
According to the Yemeni media report, the attacks targeted areas in the provinces of Taiz, al-Jawf, Marib, Hodeida, Saada and al-Bayda.
He added: The Saudi government persists in misleading global public opinion through false narratives in order to intimidate and blackmail it.
