Although the Mossad chief did not specify who exactly M. was, when he was killed, or what incident occurred, after the Mossad chief’s initial revelations, Israeli media claimed that M. was killed in Italy in 2023 while working with Italian intelligence to prevent Tehran from acquiring some advanced equipment.
