PNN – Palestinian groups issued statements to condole the martyrdom of Izz al-Din Haddad, the commander-in-chief of the Qassam Brigades.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Shahab News Agency, the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement and the Martyr Omar al-Qasim Forces issued separate statements to condole the martyrdom of Izz al-Din Haddad “Abu Suhaib,” the commander-in-chief of the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.
The Mujahideen Movement announced that Haddad was martyred in the cowardly Zionist assassination operation that targeted western Gaza City on Friday evening.
The movement, while offering condolences to the leadership of the Hamas movement, the commanders of the Qassam Brigades, the Palestinian people, and the supporters of the resistance, mentioned Haddad as one of the prominent commanders of the resistance, adding: His great sacrifices, long jihad, and role in confronting the Zionist enemy until his martyrdom will remain part of the history of the struggle of the Palestinian people.
The statement further emphasizes that the Zionist regime’s policy of assassinations in Gaza will not weaken the will of the resistance forces, and the Palestinian resistance will continue on its path.
Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Brigades: Haddad’s martyrdom is a great loss
The Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Brigades also described Haddad’s martyrdom as a great loss in a statement and stated: This event will not only weaken the nation and the resistance, but will also create a double motivation to continue the path of struggle and resistance.
The statement also described the occupation regime’s attack on Gaza as a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement.
The Ahrar Movement offered condolences
On the other hand, the Ahrar Movement of Palestine and its military wing, the Ansar Brigades, issued a statement condoling the martyrdom of Izz al-Din Haddad.
The statement reads: Izz al-Din Haddad was martyred after years of jihad, resistance and sacrifice for the cause of Palestine and defending the nation and its ideals.
The Ahrar movement described Martyr Haddad as an example of a resilient and steadfast commander who spent his life in the battlefields and remained steadfast on the path of resistance until his martyrdom.
The Palestinian movement also emphasized that the policy of assassination and targeting resistance commanders will not break the will of the Palestinian people and will make the resistance more determined in adhering to the rights and national principles of Palestine.
The Ahrar movement concluded by offering condolences to the family, comrades, and relatives of Martyr Izz al-Din Haddad.
