PNN – A Palestinian journalist took a jab at the UAE delegation for remaining in the hall during Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech, remarking that the chairs showed more honor than they did.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Palestinian journalist Mohammad Haniyeh criticized the delegations—specifically that of the United Arab Emirates—that did not walk out during the speech delivered by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the UN General Assembly.
He stated: Even the empty chairs took a more honorable stance than the UAE’s ruling regime.
This remark was made after a large number of diplomatic delegations walked out of the General Assembly hall in protest of Netanyahu’s speech; however, unlike the majority, the UAE delegation remained in the hall.
The mass walkout of delegations from the General Assembly hall during Netanyahu’s speech became one of the most striking scenes illustrating the international isolation of the Zionist regime.
