PNN – The Biden administration announced the provision of about $1 billion in aid in the form of arms support to Ukraine.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the US Department of Defense announced in an official announcement that it will provide assistance of about 1 billion dollars in the form of arms support to Ukraine.
According to the announcement, the $988 million aid package for Ukraine will include ammunition for rocket systems and unmanned aerial systems and support for maintenance programs to help the Ukrainian military build and maintain military strength.
Meanwhile, Patrick Ryder, the official spokesman of the Pentagon, announced two nights ago that more than 9 billion dollars of the military and financial support packages approved by the United States to help Ukraine remained. He explained: 2.21 billion dollars remain in the framework of the Ukrainian security support initiative and 6.8 billion dollars remain in the framework of the PDA program.
Ryder also emphasized that the White House has asked US defense forces to “do everything possible to continue to support Ukraine.”
A day earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced that in the coming weeks, Ukraine will receive 50 billion dollars from the United States and European Union countries, which will be financed by the proceeds of frozen Russian assets.

At the same time, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, announced that it will be up to US President-elect Donald Trump, not outgoing President Joe Biden, to decide whether to double aid to Ukraine.
Asked if he would provide the $24 billion requested by Washington to help Kiev, Johnson said he did not intend to. He explained: Joe Biden should not make such decisions; he is leaving the White House and cannot make decisions for the future of the United States. Now we have an elected president and we will wait to receive the necessary requests from the new commander-in-chief of the armed forces. Therefore, the financing of Ukraine is currently not done.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives also emphasized that Congress has no plans to allocate an additional $24 billion in interim federal funding for Ukraine.
Earlier, Joe Biden asked Congress to allocate $24 billion to strengthen Ukraine’s military capabilities and replace the US’s depleted military reserves.
In addition, Jake Sullivan, Biden’s national security adviser, announced that the United States plans to send thousands of missiles and ammunition to the armed forces of Ukraine by the end of January. The Biden administration also announced a series of additional measures to strengthen Ukraine.
At the same time, Reuters reported that US President-elect Donald Trump has three plans to resolve the Ukraine conflict, one of which was presented by his deputy J.D. Vance.
Earlier, Donald Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton said in an interview that there is no easy and quick way out of the conflict in Ukraine, but President-elect Donald Trump will find a way out of it.
This is despite the fact that Donald Trump promised many times before winning the election that if he gets to the White House, he will solve the crisis in Ukraine within 24 hours. However, he did not provide a specific solution for this issue.
