PNN – The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) claimed to have thwarted a plot that apparently targeted a UFC event at the White House attended by US President Donald Trump and arrested several people.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; FBI Director Kash Patel said in a message on social media on Tuesday: On June 10, the FBI and our law enforcement partners were notified of a potential threat against a UFC event in Washington, D.C., originating from outside the Capital Region.

The FBI director claimed: Following the rapid action of the FBI, our partners and the Department of Justice in a multi-state operation, several people were arrested and the alleged planned attacks were stopped. The event took place on the South Lawn of the White House on Sunday evening.

NBC News reported on Tuesday local time that, according to a court document, the FBI has detailed the alleged plot of the alleged perpetrators, stating that the goal of the plan was to attack the event using drones carrying explosives and also shoot at the crowd as they fled after the attack.

The document alleges that 19 people were involved in the alleged plot. In the case, Tyson Propper, 19, was arrested in Ohio and charged with attempted murder and multiple firearms violations.

He admitted to his role in the planning of the attack, according to the FBI. According to court documents, the man’s mother called police in Ohio last week to express concerns about her son’s recent behavior, including buying a gun and communicating with unknown people online. His family also told officers that he had recently made disturbing statements, including expressing sympathy for Adolf Hitler and posting anti-Semitic messages on social media.

According to the FBI, when police searched the home, they found thousands of rounds of ammunition, an assault rifle and a recently purchased bullpup gun painted with an American flag. The items were voluntarily turned over by the family.

NBC News reported that the alleged plan involved flying small drones carrying explosives over the event site and detonating them to evacuate people and important targets from the north to the south; then gunmen would open fire on the fleeing crowd. The FBI claimed that the plan was to “start a revolution” in the United States.

Officials also said the case remains under investigation and that multiple federal and state agencies are involved in the investigation. NBC News reported that a heavy security presence was reported around the White House in the days leading up to the incident. US officials have described the case as part of a wave of political threats and violence in recent years.
