PNN – The former U.S. Ambassador to the Zionist regime has acknowledged the dissatisfaction among Democrats regarding Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as their unwillingness to work with him.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing the Zionist website Ynet, Dan Shapiro—the former U.S. Ambassador to the occupied territories—admitted that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu possesses a “toxic” personality, to the extent that no Democrats wish to cooperate with him.
He further noted that, among Republicans, Netanyahu’s name has become linked to the prospect of a war with Iran—a factor that contributed to their defeat in the midterm elections.
Shapiro stated that Americans loathe this war and the heavy costs associated with it. Unless new figures and a new face emerge in Israel, there will be no opportunity to improve relations with the United States. The first and most crucial step in this direction is the formation of a new cabinet featuring new faces. Israel’s policies in the West Bank must change; Tel Aviv needs to address settler violence, the expansion of settlements, and the implementation of the Trump plan regarding Gaza. Nearly all Democrats favor halting U.S. military aid to Israel—a reality to which Tel Aviv must grow accustomed.
At the same time, he acknowledged that many Democrats still believe the security of the Zionist regime aligns with U.S. interests, noting that the enemies of this regime are also enemies of the United States.
