Taliban criticizes for not having a seat in the UN.

According to Anatolia news agency, Hafez Zia Ahmad Takal, Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Interim Government of Afghanistan, criticized the exclusion of the representative of this ministry from the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly and called this decision “oppression to the people of Afghanistan”.

He also emphasized the necessity of handing over the seat of Afghanistan in the United Nations to the “provisional government” of this country and added: Our position regarding the seat of Afghanistan in the United Nations, which is not given to the representatives of the Afghan people, is that if the United Nations gives this seat to Leave it to the real representatives of Afghanistan, they can do their work responsibly and defend the rights of Afghans.

It is said that the situation of Afghanistan and several other countries is among the topics discussed in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Meanwhile, Nasir Ahmad Faiq, the Permanent Representative of Afghanistan to the United Nations, said that he will participate in all the meetings of the 79th round of the United Nations General Assembly on behalf of his country.

It should be noted that before this, the American Peace Institute announced that due to the non-recognition of the Taliban in Afghanistan by the UN member states, its representative will not attend the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
