PNN – The Israeli regime’s attack on the Samoud humanitarian flotilla sparked a wave of global condemnation; an event that both intensified Tel Aviv’s isolation and emphasized the need to maintain Iran’s deterrence.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; The Israeli regime’s piracy against the “Samoud” flotilla, or the Gaza blockade-breaking convoy – which was merely carrying humanitarian and symbolic aid to fulfill international rights based on the right to life for all and human responsibilities – was accompanied by the inhumane behavior of the Israeli Minister of Internal Security against the crew of the flotilla and the release of a video of this inhumane treatment, which led to a wave of global reactions, even in European countries.
This incident, on the one hand, revealed the regime’s repeated criminal behavior against the legitimate and global fleet of Samood and another leaf of the regime’s terrorist and inhuman nature. On the other hand, the widespread global response to this piracy can be considered an important achievement for the Gaza resistance; just as it once again demonstrated the legitimacy of Iran’s positions on the necessity of maintaining intelligent management of the Strait of Hormuz to establish regional stability and security and the baselessness of claims that the situation in the Strait would return to the conditions before the Ramadan War.
Samoud; the Victory of Resistance in the Field of World Public Opinion
In an unprecedented move, many countries around the world condemned the inhumane treatment of Zionist Minister of Internal Security Itamar Ben-Giver towards Palestinian supporters on the Samoud flotilla, and a number of them summoned the regime’s ambassadors.
Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Germany, England, Slovenia, Ireland, Greece, Poland, Finland, Switzerland, Austria, France, etc. were among the Western countries that either condemned and expressed concern about this crime against the Samoud flotilla or summoned representatives of the Zionist regime.
Although these actions were taken in a diplomatic atmosphere, their main root should be sought in the priority given to the Palestinian issue in world public opinion, especially in Europe, and the inability of the Zionists and their Western supporters to cover up the crimes of this regime. A process that is considered an important achievement for the Gaza resistance and the axis of resistance; a resistance that, by standing firm and exposing the dimensions of the regime’s crimes, has led world public opinion towards the Palestinian issue and the critical situation in Gaza.
The global response to piracy and the Zionists’ blatant violation of international law against the Samood fleet, along with the regime’s diplomatic failure, can be considered an achievement for the resistance in conquering global public opinion; a trend that has now reached the level of governments and could lead to increased international isolation and even sanctions against the Zionist regime in the future.
The Zionist regime; a threat to humanity and international law
The Zionist regime’s crime and then the Zionist minister’s inhumane and provocative behavior against the activists of the Samood flotilla, along with the announcement of US sanctions against this flotilla, once again revealed a truth that has been raised for years by Iran and the free nations of the world: that the Zionist regime and the United States are a threat to humanity, international law, and international law.
The Samood Fleet once again reminded the international responsibility of governments in implementing humanitarian obligations and confronting aggressors and state terrorism; a responsibility that has made the formation of a global alignment against this regime an inevitable necessity.
The failure of governments to fulfill their responsibilities since the Balfour Declaration has created the current situation, and countries must be held accountable for this historical irresponsibility and compensate for it through a realistic approach to the Palestinian issue and confronting the Zionist regime and its supporters.
The West’s Double Standards: The Root of Continuing Zionist Crimes
The record of the West and international institutions shows that, in addition to Zionist state terrorism, their passive and double-dealing behavior has also paved the way for the formation of the Zionists’ false self-confidence in considering themselves immune from any accountability.
When people like “Kallas” use impersonal words such as “insulting,” “wrong,” or “inappropriate” instead of explicitly condemning and expressing disgust at the Zionist crime against the Samood flotilla, and other Western countries and global institutions do not consider any punishment for this regime or, through deviant marginalization, remove the Palestinian issue from public opinion’s priority, it is natural that the Zionist regime sees itself free to continue its occupation and crimes.
When silence and indifference prevail in the face of the genocide of children, from Gaza to the Minab School, it will only result in the repetition of tragedies such as the attack on the Samood flotilla.
The world today needs a practical rethink of its behavior; the dualities and selective irresponsibility must end, and the international system must be redefined on the basis of a new and just order.
The Strait of Hormuz; a Strategic Component in Regional Deterrence
The Zionist regime’s audacity against the Samood fleet and its lack of accountability, along with America’s support for this crime, the irresponsibility of the West and international institutions, and the approach of some Arab countries towards compromise with the Zionist regime and turning their land into a military and espionage base for this regime, are once again a confirmation of the necessity of maintaining Iran’s intelligent management of the Strait of Hormuz.
When the Zionists’ logistical power is provided with the support of the United States and through some Arab countries on the southern edge of the Persian Gulf, and the world has no will to confront this situation, while Trump also beats the drum of war against Iran every day in the Zionists’ game, Tehran has no choice but to maintain intelligent management of the Strait of Hormuz and also to protect its nuclear capabilities as deterrent components in the path to ensuring regional and global security.
Calls for a return to the previous status quo in the Strait of Hormuz or for Iran to remove its enriched uranium from the country will only serve to strengthen the false self-confidence of the Zionists and the United States, which is in conflict with Iran’s will to realize its legitimate rights and build a safe region for all.
