PNN – An Iraqi parliament member said: The “American-Israeli” base is still operating in western Iraq and Iraqi forces are not allowed to approach this center.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Shafaq News, Shakir Abu Turab al-Tamimi, a representative of the Badr faction in the Iraqi parliament, said: The American-Israeli base is still operating in western Iraq and Iraqi forces are not allowed to approach this center. The information that was published two months ago about the existence of this base on Iraqi soil is correct, and this center is still in place and Iraqi security forces do not have the right to approach it.
Al-Tamimi added: The government was initially unaware of this issue, but later learned about the existence of this joint base in the Western Desert through security agencies.
These statements come after Saad Maan, head of the Security Information Unit, announced yesterday that following extensive inspections in the deserts of Karbala and Najaf, no foreign troops or military equipment were found.
