PNN – Riyadh-aligned media outlets, continuing their propaganda campaign, have alleged a Yemeni attack on facilities associated with the Prophet’s Mosque.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; as Yemeni armed forces continue to strike the positions of the aggressors, Saudi Arabia’s media apparatus has concocted a new scenario aimed at deflecting attention and covering up the successive defeats suffered by its proxies on the battlefield.
In a coordinated move, media outlets linked to Riyadh have claimed a Yemeni attack on facilities connected to the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina—an allegation described as reminiscent of obsolete past tactics, such as claims of attacks on Mecca, intended to mislead public opinion.
This propaganda onslaught comes as, according to the report, Saudi mercenaries have recently faced major retreats and heavy casualties in confrontations with the Yemeni army.
The report states that the Saudis, having reached a military stalemate, are now attempting to mask their battlefield weaknesses by instrumentalizing holy sites and engaging in “media blackmail.”
Last week, as part of its ongoing propaganda campaign against Yemeni armed forces, Riyadh claimed a drone attack on the holy city of Mecca—an apparent attempt to inflame Muslim public opinion worldwide and thereby secure the involvement of Turkey and Pakistan (both members of the Mecca Security Pact) in countering the Yemeni advance against Saudi-backed mercenaries.
