The secret of Tel Aviv’s fear of attacking Beirut and the suburbs

PNN – The Zionist regime has intensified its attacks on southern and eastern Lebanon in recent days, but is afraid of attacking Beirut and its suburbs.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, a Hebrew media outlet pointed out the reason behind the regime’s failure to attack Beirut despite widespread attacks on southern and eastern Lebanon.

Yedioth Ahronoth claimed: The reason the Israeli army did not attack Beirut was the American veto.

This is while the Israeli Channel 12 announced that the regime conveyed its intention to expand operations in Lebanon to Washington through US Ambassador Mike Huckabee, but the US message was not to attack Beirut and its suburbs.

The Israeli Kan channel also reported that the option of bombing buildings in Beirut’s southern suburbs is currently not on the table due to US opposition and the sensitivity of this issue in negotiations with Iran.

The Hebrew channel claimed that Trump is waiting for Iran’s response and that “his patience is running out” and does not want to give Tehran an excuse to reject the US offer by carrying out a large-scale operation in Beirut.

The Kan network claimed that the regime has expanded its military operations in southern Lebanon instead of attacking Beirut and its suburbs, and that the United States is not opposed to carrying out targeted assassination operations in Beirut if the right operational opportunity arises.

According to the network, assessments in Israel indicate that any agreement reached with Iran will almost certainly lead to a complete and absolute ceasefire in Lebanon, with the exception of a withdrawal from the Yellow Zone.

These claims come as Hezbollah’s political council member Ghalib Abu Zeinab said: Iran has sent a message to Washington through intermediaries that if Israel’s threats against Beirut and Dahiyeh are implemented, the entire path of negotiations will be destroyed. Iran insists on Lebanon’s presence in any final agreement and end to the war.
