PNN – Qatar’s Al Arabi TV reported that the construction project for the Trump International Hotel and Tower on Australia’s Gold Coast, which was supposed to be the first Trump-branded project in the country, was halted less than three months after its official announcement, following disputes between the Trump Organization and the Australian developer.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Qatar’s Al Arabi TV, what was supposed to be Australia’s tallest Donald Trump Tower on the Gold Coast has become the scene of a war of words between the Trump Organization and an Australian property developer less than three months after it was officially announced.
David Young, CEO of Altus Property Group, said the war in Iran had made it extremely difficult to work with the Trump brand in Australia.
The project, called the Trump International Hotel and Tower, was to be the first Trump-branded project in Australia and the latest in a string of international projects for the US president’s business empire.
The deal reportedly fell through less than three months after it was officially announced.
