PNN – The former head of Saudi Arabia’s intelligence service revealed the Israeli Prime Minister’s failed attempt to drag Riyadh into war with Iran.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Turki Al-Faisal, the former head of Saudi Arabia’s intelligence service, revealed that the Zionist regime had tried to drag Riyadh into war with Iran, but Saudi Arabia wisely and foresightfully avoided entering this confrontation.

In an article published in the Arab News newspaper, Turki Al-Faisal accused the Zionist regime of seeking to drag Saudi Arabia into war with Iran with the aim of imposing its regional hegemony.

He also expressed his concern about the approaches and actions of the Zionist regime’s cabinet, referring to the prevailing views in the Middle East.

Turki Al-Faisal praised Saudi Arabia’s policy in dealing with the consequences of the war launched by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, saying that Riyadh has played a pivotal role in preventing the spread of tensions and the escalation of conflict in the region.

The article states: From the Saudi perspective, Israel is no longer a security bulwark, but a crisis-causing factor that threatens the crown prince’s strategic vision.

According to Al-Faisal, Saudi Arabia and Oman, which had strongly opposed the war from the beginning, believe that the Zionist regime has pushed Trump into this dangerous adventure.

The article states: The Saudi position on this issue seems to be in line with the view that is now prevalent in the United States; a view that sees Netanyahu as the cause of America’s war. Even if Trump and Netanyahu are considered perfect partners, Israel is still recognized by public opinion as the source of the crises.

Turki al-Faisal also stated: Netanyahu’s strategic blindness is quite obvious. Saudi Arabia may have concluded even before the war began that Trump and Netanyahu would not achieve their desired goal of overthrowing the Iranian regime.

The article continues by stating that from the first days of the war, the Zionist regime was deluded into the illusion of forming a regional coalition against Iran, and the media constantly speculated about the possibility of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states joining this military coalition.

Turki Al-Faisal added: In the meantime, Saudi Arabia’s message to Israel and the international community has been clear, emphasizing that we are not part of your game; the policy pursued by Netanyahu, which Saudi Arabia considers destructive and dangerous, not only further distances the process of normalizing relations, but also destroys the last bridges of communication.

Turki Al-Faisal also emphasized that Saudi Arabia is now pursuing a quiet diplomacy towards Tehran and is simultaneously strengthening its cooperation with Pakistan and Turkey.

According to him, from the perspective of Mohammed bin Salman, the economy and stability take priority over the process of normalizing relations with a regime that seems to be moving towards endless war in Iran, Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.

He added: It was not without reason that Saudi Arabia pressured Trump to advance a ceasefire in Lebanon and also supported the mediation efforts of its ally, Pakistan.

At the end of this article, it is stated that, contrary to what Netanyahu and his allies were instilling in public opinion, their policies have not pushed Saudi Arabia towards the Zionist regime, but have had the opposite result; so that instead of creating a broad security coalition in the region, Netanyahu and Trump’s policies have created a reverse trend.
