PNN – Turkey’s Energy Minister announced the country’s serious desire to extend gas imports from Iran.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Turkey’s Energy Minister announced that Ankara wants to continue importing natural gas from Iran, while the current contract between the two countries expires at the end of this year.
Alp Arslan Bayrakdar said Türkiye wants the flow of gas imports from Iran to continue without interruption.
He stressed that negotiations on extending the contract are ongoing.
