PNN – The United Nations is facing the risk of bankruptcy following the US default on its debt.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Wall Street Journal reported that the United Nations is facing a serious financial crisis and the risk of bankruptcy due to the suspension or delay in the payment of financial contributions from the United States and China.

According to the report, the United States has not paid billions of dollars in its financial obligations to the United Nations and has simultaneously withdrawn from dozens of programs of this international organization. Washington has described these programs as “costly and unnecessary.”

Reports indicate that the US debt to the United Nations has now exceeded 4 billion dollars.
