PNN – The US Secretary of War threatened Iran with desperate language after failing to achieve his country’s goals in the war with Iran.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegsett claimed on Thursday that the naval blockade of Iran by US forces was merely an example of America’s “polite behavior” during the ongoing ceasefire.
Like Trump, the head of the terrorist American government, he warned that if ordered, American forces are ready to strike Iran’s power plants and energy industry.
Hegsett, along with two of the most senior US military officers, made the following delusional claims at a press conference at the Pentagon: We are rebuilding with more power and better information than ever before. We are locked on to your critical dual infrastructure, your remaining power generation, your energy industry, and we are ready to fire. We would rather not have to.
These claims come at a time when Donald Trump’s administration is under severe pressure due to the start of the terrorist war against Iran, and a significant portion of American senators continue to try to contain him and reduce his war powers, and some circles in the United States have even called for the activation of the 25th Amendment to the Constitution to remove Trump.
The US Secretary of War’s claims come as Tanker Trackers says maritime data shows that Iran has managed to transport 9 million barrels of crude oil from its floating tanks in the Sea of Oman since the US imposed a naval blockade on April 13, 2026.
Another two million barrels were removed from the region the day before the blockade began, on April 12, 2026.
Hegst also reiterated his previous claims about military operations in Iran, saying that Iran is rapidly rebuilding its military capabilities.
