PNN – News sources have reported on the severe predicament Washington faces regarding the conflict in Yemen, noting its deep concern over the expansion of this costly war.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al-Masirah, Western sources have highlighted the difficult situation Washington finds itself in concerning Yemen.

Reuters reported that the escalation of hostilities in Yemen has presented Washington with a dilemma.

The Western outlet noted that while Washington is under pressure to assist Saudi Arabia, it is simultaneously seeking to avoid the spread of this costly war into new arenas—or, in other words, to prevent the conflict from widening.

Meanwhile, the official Saudi news agency reported earlier today, Monday, that Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman hosted CENTCOM Commander Brad Cooper in Jeddah.

Saudi-backed mercenaries in Yemen have suffered a heavy defeat, and Riyadh’s request for military support has been rejected by Donald Trump.

Israel’s Channel 12 had previously reported that Saudi Arabia had requested military support from Washington.

According to the report, US President Donald Trump has opposed launching direct attacks against Ansarullah.
