Yemen warns against continuing investment in Saudi Aramco

PNN – The Yemeni army has once again called on Aramco shareholders to sell their shares and refrain from investing in the company.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; a military source affiliated with the Yemeni Armed Forces warned in an interview with the Saba News Agency on Sunday that shareholders in Saudi Aramco could face losses due to their continued involvement with the company, urging them to sell their shares as soon as possible.

The military source also advised all airlines, flight crews, and passengers to avoid Saudi Arabian airports—with the exception of those serving Mecca (Jeddah Airport) and Medina—emphasizing that Saudi airspace is unsafe, save for the areas surrounding these two cities.

In this regard, the military source also warned staff, workers, and ordinary citizens to stay away from Saudi Arabian oil facilities, as these sites fall within the scope of military targets.

These warnings are part of the actions taken by the Yemeni Armed Forces under the strategies of “escalation for escalation” and “blockade for blockade.” The Yemeni Armed Forces have previously stated—on several occasions—that they have targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Aramco facilities in Yanbu, the Rabigh refinery, as well as airports in Dammam and Najran and the Khamis Mushait airbase. They have further declared that these attacks will continue until the aggression ceases and the blockade is lifted.

Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, had previously explicitly stated that Saudi Arabia’s airports and airspace—with the exception of Mecca and Medina—are “subject to attack and constitute a theater of military operations.”
