PNN – A Yemeni military official has warned Saudi-backed commanders in the city of Taiz to surrender before it is too late.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; a Yemeni military official warned the Saudi-backed commanders in Taiz to surrender, urging them not to risk their lives defending the Saudi enemy.

A military source told Yemen’s official news agency, Saba that the Yemeni Armed Forces have once again called on the Saudi-backed commanders in Taiz to heed the peace efforts initiated by prominent local figures, in order to save their own lives.

The source added that the Yemeni Armed Forces have warned the remaining Saudi-affiliated forces to cease blocking routes leading to the city of Taiz and to stop disregarding initiatives by local authorities aimed at reopening safe passages for civilians.

According to the source, the Yemeni Armed Forces emphasized that they will not allow Saudi-affiliated forces—specifically Takfiri groups—to use the city of Taiz and its residents as human shields for their criminal activities.

The source stated that the Yemeni Armed Forces have announced they will stand alongside the honorable people of Taiz against the Saudi-backed militants, who have committed hundreds of atrocities against them over the recent period.

The source further noted that the Yemeni Armed Forces have once again urged those who have been deceived to take advantage of the presidential amnesty—before it is too late—rather than sacrificing their lives to defend the Saudi enemy.
