In this context, Yoav Gallant, the Minister of War of the occupying regime, claimed that the communication of Hamas leader Yahya al-Sanwar in the Gaza Strip with Hamas officials and forces was cut off a few weeks ago, and the Hamas leadership abroad is looking for a replacement for Al-Sanwar in Gaza.
Gallant continued his exaggerations in the evaluation meeting of the Israeli army command in the south of the occupied Palestine and claimed that the lack of leadership from Hamas in the Gaza Strip has forced the authorities of this movement to look for an alternative to manage this area.
According to the report of the Hebrew website “Waynet”, the Minister of War of the Zionist regime also claimed that the Khan Younis Battalion of Hamas has been defeated and its military structure has fallen apart, leaving Hamas in this area with nothing but scattered forces in the middle of the camps. Also, the Israeli army has decided to destroy the Rafah Battalion of Hamas and nothing can stop it.
These claims of Gallant, which have a great contradiction with the reality on the ground, are raised in the shadow of the continued threats of the Zionists to attack Rafah; An action through which Israel seeks to achieve the image of an imaginary achievement.
