9,600 Palestinians are in captivity by the Zionist regime’
According to Al Jazeera, since the beginning of the Gaza war on October 7, 2023, the Zionist regime has widely arrested Palestinian civilians in the West Bank.
Based on this, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Association issued a statement and announced that now more than 9,600 prisoners who were arrested in the West Bank and East Jerusalem are in captivity in the prisons of the Zionist regime.
Thousands of these people are in administrative detention. In this type of arrest, people are arrested not because of what they have done in the past, but because of the fear of what they will do in the future. These people have been in the prisons of the Zionist regime for months now, without holding a trial or being charged.
Zionist soldiers are now raiding different areas of the West Bank to arrest Palestinians on a daily basis.
The community of Palestinian prisoners says that many of the detainees have reported ill-treatment and torture in the prisons of the Zionist regime.
Itamar Ben Guer, the extremist minister of internal security of the Zionist regime, has recently issued a decree demanding a reduction in the food ration of Palestinian prisoners in prisons of this regime. Human rights organizations say this is an attempt to use starvation as a form of torture.
