PNN – A senior official in the Zionist regime’s military industry has officially acknowledged that Israel is facing a shortage of air-defense interceptors.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; a report by the Ynet news site—citing the chairman of the board of Israel Aerospace Industries—revealed an admission that prolonged warfare has led to ammunition constraints for Israel.
Speaking to a Hebrew-language outlet affiliated with the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, the Zionist official emphasized: We will suffer from a chronic shortage in this area because, in reality, we are engaged in an asymmetric war. He added: Ongoing meetings are being held to address this issue, but the Israeli Ministry of Finance must also allocate special funds; the current situation is far from satisfactory.
Boaz Levy, Chairman of the Board of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), did not hesitate when asked whether the war—now nearing its third year—had caused an actual shortage of interceptor missiles for Israel.
In this interview, he acknowledged: There are Israeli and American limitations [regarding interceptor missiles]. He added that a prolonged war, accompanied by the large-scale firing of ballistic missiles, creates a constant need for the production of these missiles.
The Zionist official stated: There will always be a persistent shortage [of interceptors] because the war is symmetrical. According to him, production lines at Israel Aerospace Industries are operating around the clock to fulfill all orders from the military establishment.
As noted by Ynet, he also used the interview to send a message amidst disputes over increasing the military budget, stating: We need larger budgets to acquire more interceptors, and the current budget is limited.
According to him, decision-makers in Israel recognize the urgent need, while responsibility for the budget lies with the Ministry of Finance—not the Ministry of War, which determines the requirements.
When asked whether he sleeps soundly knowing the size of the interceptor missile stockpiles, Levy replied: I will never sleep easy regarding interceptor missile stockpiles, because the need will always persist. Our role at Israel Aerospace Industries is to supply these stockpiles as quickly and efficiently as possible; however, we must recognize that these are highly complex systems, and their production takes considerable time—a statement that highlights the severe shortage of this ammunition within the Zionist regime, a shortage authorities attempt to keep shrouded in censorship.
