Advisor to the UAE Ruler: Terrorism and extremism should have no place in the new Syrian government

PNN – “Anwar al-Garqash”, the political adviser of the ruler of the UAE, said on Saturday night in response to the statement of the Arab countries in Aqaba, Jordan, regarding the developments in Syria: This statement emphasizes the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Syria and the formation of a government without terrorism and extremism.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Gargash wrote on his official page on X channel:  The statement of the Aqaba meeting regarding Syria also expresses the positive approach of the Arab countries to support their friends in the process of political and peaceful transfer of power in Syria, respecting the rights of all Syrian citizens and without distinguishing one group from another.

At the end of their meeting in the port of Aqaba, the foreign ministers of Arab and foreign countries, emphasizing the support of the Syrian nation and its elections and the process of peaceful transfer of power with the participation of all the political and social forces of this country, announced: The current situation requires comprehensive national dialogues to establish a free and unified Syria.

By condemning the aggression of the Zionist regime in the buffer zone between the occupied territories and Syrian territory, as well as Jabal al-Sheikh, Al Quneitra and Rif Damascus provinces, the countries participating in this meeting emphasized on supporting the Syrian nation and respecting its will.
