PNN – Khalil al-Haya, deputy head of Hamas’ office, said Saturday night in response to Netanyahu’s statement: Mohammad Zaif, the commander-in-chief of al-Qassam battalions, now listens to Netanyahu’s words and mocks them.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, this senior Hamas official told Al Jazeera about the Israeli Prime Minister’s claim that Zaif was martyred: Netanyahu hoped to declare a fake victory in his speech.
Khalil al-Hiya emphasized: The claims of the occupying regime and Netanyahu are completely false and baseless.
He said that we showed maximum flexibility based on our positions and beliefs and not under pressure.
Al-Hiya emphasized that Netanyahu is not looking for an agreement or the release of Israeli prisoners.
He added: Netanyahu and his government should give their answer to the mediators, not us.

The deputy head of the political office of the Hamas movement in Gaza emphasized that all options are open to us and we will not give him what Netanyahu wants.
He said that we expect the intermediary parties to give us an answer after we have presented a clear position and approach.
Al-Hiya added: Netanyahu’s behavior is the behavior of a person who is in trouble.
This Hamas leader clarified that it is Netanyahu and his government that should provide their answer to the mediators, not us.
Al-Hiya said that Netanyahu should know that other fronts have been opened against him and that he is not in a good and comfortable situation.
In justifying the brutal crime in Khan Younis, which killed and wounded hundreds of people, Netanyahu claimed that the attack targeted Mohamed Zif, the commander of the al-Qassam battalions, and his successor, Rafi Salama.
At the same time, he said that he does not know the fate of these two Qassam commanders.
He said that the internal security services of the Zionist regime “Shabak” informed him about this operation and welcomed it.
