PNN – A Palestinian analyst analyzed the reasons for the recent humiliating actions of the Zionist regime against the President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, and other officials, and said: Tel Aviv views the PA as a security contractor and is even considering phasing it out.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Shahab News Agency, Palestinian analyst Samar Hamad said, referring to the recent actions of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian Authority: Israel’s recent actions against the Palestinian Authority, including preventing the PA’s Prime Minister, Mohammed Mustafa, from entering the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank and disrupting the PA’s President, Mahmoud Abbas,’s recent trip to Syria, represent a major shift in the occupiers’ treatment of the Palestinian Authority.
He added: These measures are not just security measures, but have a clear political message. The aim of these measures is to strip the Palestinian Authority of its sovereignty. Israel wants the Authority to have only a security and service role and no real political power.

The analyst emphasized: The occupiers do not consider the PA as a political partner, but rather as a domestic contractor, an implementer of coordinated security measures, a normal administrator of affairs, and a pacifier of the anger of the Palestinian people. The Gaza war has upset all equations. Israel is seeking to gradually eliminate the PA in favor of alternative means or even calculated chaos that would change the situation in the West Bank.
He strongly criticized the approach of the Palestinian Authority authorities and their waiting policy, and declared: This organization must determine its duty to determine whether it is merely a security and service organization whose existence depends on the enemy.
This Palestinian analyst considered the PA authorities’ policy of waiting in the face of the current situation to be political suicide.
Israeli media previously revealed that Tel Aviv had prevented Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas from flying from Jordan to Damascus. The Israeli Air Force, acting on the advice of political officials, refused to allow the Jordanian plane to pass through Syrian airspace, which is under Israeli control, forcing the plane to stop flying.
