Arab League: Tel Aviv seeks to exploit developments in Syria and occupy more territory.
According to Sputnik, the Arab League issued a statement saying: “All powers that want to achieve regional and international stability must support the Syrian people so that the people of this country can overcome the transition period full of various challenges.”
The statement emphasized the need to lift the sanctions imposed on Syria in the new period.
The Arab League added: “We will never abandon our support for Syria. The territorial integrity of this country must be preserved and defended. The current developments in this country are one of the most important moments in the contemporary history of Syria.”
The statement emphasized: “At this critical stage, all Syrians must prioritize peaceful coexistence and dialogue, as well as the national interests of the country. Weapons must be collected to protect the lives of the people and the political transition process must be completed peacefully.”
The Arab League also condemned the Zionist regime’s aggression against Syria by abusing the country’s internal conditions and occupying more land in the Syrian Golan Heights and violating the 1974 agreement.
