PNN – China’s Ministry of Commerce has issued an order prohibiting any recognition, implementation or compliance with US sanctions against five Chinese companies.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Xinhua News Agency, China’s Ministry of Commerce issued a prohibiting order on Saturday, prohibiting any recognition, implementation or compliance with US sanctions against five Chinese companies (due to their alleged involvement in Iranian oil transactions).
The five refineries are the Hengli Petrochemical Refinery (Dalian) and the so-called “Tea Pot” refineries, including Shandong Jincheng Petrochemical Group, Hebei Xinhai Chemical Group, Shuguang Luqing Petrochemical and Shandong Shengxing Chemical, according to a statement issued by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.
According to Reuters, China’s Ministry of Commerce announced today that it has issued an order to prevent US sanctions against the five Chinese refineries.
The ministry said the US sanctions violated international law and basic norms of international relations.
The statement added that Beijing cannot recognize, implement or comply with the sanctions imposed on the five Chinese companies.
