According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Bloomberg News reported that the Strait of Hormuz remains virtually closed to commercial shipping after the United States and Iran clashed last night in the Strait of Hormuz, targeting each other’s equipment in the area.
The American news agency’s report comes as ship tracking company Tanker Trackers announced on its social media account on Friday that over the past two days, three empty National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC) tankers returned to Iran after crossing the US Navy’s blockade line and through Pakistan’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
According to the company’s statement, these three Iranian tankers are capable of carrying a total of 5 million barrels of Iranian crude oil.
