PNN – The Chinese embassy in the occupied Palestinian territories considered the visit of the Israeli parliamentary delegation to Taiwan a provocative act.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Chinese Embassy in the occupied territories officially and strongly reacted yesterday to the visit of a parliamentary delegation of the Israeli regime to Taiwan and condemned this action.
According to the Chinese Embassy, a delegation of Israeli Knesset representatives from the Yesh Atid party, led by Boaz Toporovsky, traveled to Taiwan and met with Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te.
The Chinese embassy described the visit as a “provocative” move and a clear violation of the “one-China” principle, warning that such actions would seriously damage the political foundation of China-Israel relations.
Beijing also stressed that the Taiwan issue was a “red line” for China and that Israel should not cross it. The Chinese embassy warned that Israel would “pay the price” if such actions continued.
