PNN – The Coordination Framework has warned against continued US interference in Iraq’s internal affairs, including the process of forming the cabinet.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Ali al-Zubaidi, a member of Iraq’s Coordination Framework, warned on Wednesday about the dangers of persistent interference by the terrorist US administration in the cabinet formation process.

He pointed to efforts aimed at influencing the selection of individuals for government posts and excluding those whose views do not align with U.S. policies and approaches.

Al-Zubaidi stated that U.S. interference in the government formation process—specifically regarding the exclusion of certain figures from office—poses a threat to Iraqi decision-making.

The Coordination Framework member noted that the objective of this U.S. interference is to install individuals who align with American policies and agendas within Iraq.

He added that efforts to influence the formation of the government are not limited merely to proposing specific names but extend to keeping national figures away from positions and responsibilities.

Al-Zubaidi stated that the selection of officials must be based on Iraq’s national interests and free from any external (American) pressure or interference.

He stated that efforts are underway to bring figures to power who would serve the U.S. agenda in Iraq, rather than upholding national interests and the demands of the people.

Al-Zubaidi emphasized that the coming phase requires a clear political stance to prevent foreign interference in Iraqi decision-making.
