PNN – A new Washington Post/ABC News poll shows that dissatisfaction of US President Donald Trump has reached its highest level since he took office.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Americans are widely dissatisfied with their president on the war against Iran and other key issues, according to a Washington Post, ABC News and Ipsos poll.
The Washington Post wrote on Sunday: Six months before the November midterm elections, the Republican Party is facing a worsening political climate, while Americans are widely dissatisfied with Trump over the Iran war and other key issues.
ABC News also reported that Trump’s approval rating has fallen to 37 percent, the lowest level of his presidency, and his disapproval rating is at 62 percent, an all-time high in both of Trump’s terms.
The outlet emphasized that despite the overwhelming odds against Trump and his party Democrats are currently leading the midterm elections.
The poll also shows Trump is doing poorly on every issue he’s measured against. Two-thirds of Americans say the country is on the wrong track, and Democrats’ lead over Republicans in the midterm elections has widened slightly to 5 percentage points.
