Foreign Policy: How do Yemenis put pressure on the Zionist regime in the Red Sea?
A new wave of resistance against the Zionist regime’s crimes against the oppressed people of Gaza has formed in Yemen, and all sea routes leading to the ports of the Zionist regime have become tense. The Think Tank Observatory, quoting from Foreign Policy, tells the story of the developments that are taking place in the Red Sea:
The operations of the National Salvation Government of Yemen have caused many shipping companies to leave the Red Sea. The Yemeni armed forces have so far carried out 100 missile and drone attacks against dozens of ships in the Red Sea and have hit all ships bound for occupied Palestine – whether they are owned by this regime or not.
Large transportation and energy companies such as BP and Maersk have stopped their traffic from this sea in order not to face such a fate, and this issue has greatly affected the energy market and caused an increase in the global price of oil. It will soon increase the price of any product.
The Red Sea has made it possible to connect cargo ships from Asia to Europe. Therefore, the events that have happened have created a noticeable tension and disturbance in the whole world. Richard Bronze, the head of geopolitical affairs at “Energy Aspects Research Institute”, says that the Yemeni government’s attacks have “created concerns about the global transportation markets and the export and import of energy derivatives, and any disruption will increase the delay in this process and, as a result, increase costs. Such a thing has an indirect effect on all the pillars of the world economy.
