Mostafa Al-Kazemi’s violations are serious/we are waiting for his trial at the right time.
According to Al-Maluma, Turki Al-Otabi, one of the leaders of the Shia Coordination Committee known as “Coordination Framework”, said in an interview with Al-Maluma news agency on Friday: The issuance of the arrest warrant for the former Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, regarding the financial corruption cases during his tenure at the time It will be issued at the right time.
Al-Otabi added: Mostafa Al-Kazemi has committed 9 open and serious administrative violations while holding one of the most important government positions, and other cases of violations are currently being investigated by specialized judicial committees.
The member of the Coordination Framework Coalition in the Iraqi Parliament added: Issuing Al-Kazemi’s arrest warrant depends only on the time issue, but the decision is ultimately the responsibility of the judicial authority, because the investigation of the charges and the issuance of the verdict are based on the facts, but all the evidence indicates that The former prime minister has committed major violations.
The member of the Iraqi Parliament noted: The volume of corruption during the administration of al-Kazemi’s government is high, and many cases are currently being investigated and processed, and it is expected that arrest warrants will be issued for a number of his assistants and deputies as well.
Previously, the Iraqi Court of Justice in separate rulings ordered the prosecution and the arrest of a number of former assistants of al-Kazemi on charges of administrative violations. In this regard, last month, the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq issued an arrest warrant for the former Minister of Finance and three people close to the former Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi in connection with the so-called “theft of the century” case.
The Russia Al-Youm website also announced in a report that it has obtained copies of the arrest warrant for Abdul Amir Allawi as the finance minister of Al-Kazemi government and “Raed Johi”, the director of Al-Kazemi’s office, who was the head of the intelligence organization in the last weeks of the previous Iraqi government.
According to this report, an arrest warrant has also been issued for Mashrek Abbas, a close friend of Al-Kazemi and his special adviser, as well as “Ahmed Nejati”, Al-Kazemi’s personal secretary.
