PNN – Former Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, in her soon-to-be-published memoir, described Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for the 2024 US presidential election, as “unbalanced” and “deranged”.
According to Pakistan News Network’s report on Thursday from the Guardian newspaper, the book of this former American official, a copy of which has been provided to this English newspaper, is scheduled to be published next week.
In this book, she gave memories: In early 2019, at a memorial service for eminent psychiatrist Dr. David Hamburg, a number of doctors and other mental health professionals told me that they were deeply concerned that there is something seriously wrong with Trump and that he is, mentally and physically, declining.
Pelosi then added: “I’m not a doctor, but it was hard for me to understand his (Trump’s) behavior.”
Another topic of this book is the age of Trump, who, from Pelosi’s point of view, is the oldest candidate in American history at the age of 78, and during the election campaign, he was scrutinized due to frequent mistakes and his speeches were often noisy and controversial.
The Guardian also adds in this context: Trump’s explosive and out-of-control behavior and his disregard for social norms have always raised many questions.
This newspaper discussed the impeachment of the former US president twice during his stay in the White House, the second time he was suspected of instigating the deadly riot on January 6, 2021 to the Congress building to protest the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Also, Trump has been convicted of 34 charges and faces 54 other charges and has been sentenced to pay hundreds of millions of dollars in civil cases, including the case related to sexual assault.
Pelosi also wrote in the same book, referring to the January 6 riot: “I was aware of Trump’s lack of mental balance. I have seen his denial about the covid-19 pandemic, his tendency to repeatedly walk out of meetings, bad mouthing, banging on tables, anger, disrespect to the patriots of our country, complete denial of reality and repeated and ridiculous insistence that he is the best of all time. All this showed him to be an unbalanced and demented person.
In the end, Pelosi added: Whether they ignored these measures on purpose or because of money, credit or greed, America has paid a heavy price for all these events.
