PNN – A high-ranking Israeli official has officially admitted defeat in the terrorist war against Iran.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Yossi Yehoshua, a reporter for the Israeli 24 News television channel, stated in a report that a high-ranking Israeli official had told him that Israel was disappointed with the results of the war with Iran.
The official told Yehoshua: If we had known that the war would end in this way (shameful), I am not sure we would have decided to enter this war.
In this regard, the Ynet news site also wrote in a commentary: The operation that began with the name Epic Fury ended in a disgraceful failure, and the biggest losers are the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf.
The media outlet, citing an analysis published by American expert Aaron Miller, wrote: Iran has emerged from this war stronger, while the trust of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in the United States has been severely shaken, therefore it can be said that Operation Epic Fury has failed miserably.
In another part of this analysis, citing a Reuters report, it is emphasized that informed sources in the Persian Gulf region, diplomats, and analysts believe that Iran is still one of the great powers and has not been defeated, but is capable (if it wants to) of threatening the Persian Gulf countries and the global energy market. In contrast, the United States has once again shown that it has limited military power against a formidable enemy, which has severely damaged the trust of the Arab Gulf countries in the American defense umbrella.
YNet also emphasized, citing experts, that the biggest win that Washington can gain from this understanding is not getting caught up in a long-term conflict that could drain the country of huge resources and costs without achieving goals such as forcing Iran to dismantle its nuclear and missile programs.
In contrast, the Iranian regime, after managing to contain the severe blows inflicted by the United States and Israel, won in preserving its structure and preserving its political institutions.
Meanwhile, the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf were the biggest losers in this conflict, and today their stability and economic growth, which had been built over several decades, have been destroyed. Therefore, these countries are the biggest losers in this war.
In this regard, Roy Kays, a reporter for the official Israeli radio and television network (KAN), also announced in his news segment on Monday evening that the United Arab Emirates, despite welcoming this understanding between the United States and Iran, did not officially congratulate it and instead demanded a commitment to implement all the provisions of this understanding.
