According to the report of Pakistan News Network; Pope Leo XIV, the leader of the world’s Catholics, once again reacted to the recent attacks by the United States and the Zionist regime on Iran upon his return from his trip to Equatorial Guinea, emphasizing that as a leader he cannot support any kind of war or violence.

In an interview with reporters who accompanied him on his trip to Malabo, he stated: As a spiritual leader, I cannot be a supporter of war. Innocent people are always the first victims of conflicts.

According to CNN, the Pope, referring to the widespread consequences of the recent attacks, said that the bombing of Iranian soil has not only caused many problems for the people of the country, but also created a fragile situation for the global economy. He called on the parties involved to abandon violence and hostile reactions and turn to solutions based on a culture of peace and dialogue.

The US and Israeli attacks on Iran were carried out while, according to reports, indirect talks were underway with the mediation of some third parties. In response, Iran carried out Operation “True Promise 4” targeting US bases in the region and some targets in the occupied territories.
