Report of Al-Mayadeen on the details of the proposed ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Zionist regime

PNN – Lebanon’s Al-Mayadeen network published a version of the main framework of the proposed agreement between the Palestinian and Zionist sides to exchange prisoners and stop the war in Gaza.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network from Al-Mayadeen, a copy of the main framework of the proposed ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Zionist regime has reached this Lebanese network.

According to the report, the goal of this agreement is to release all Israeli prisoners, whether civilian or military, living or dead.

This report adds that the framework of the proposed agreement with the aim of returning to lasting peace includes taking the necessary measures to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza.

Al-Mayadeen added: This agreement consists of three stages, the first stage of which is for 40 days with the possibility of extension.

It is stated in this report: In the first stage of the agreement, the forces of the Zionist regime retreated to the east of Gaza and moved away from the densely populated areas and moved towards the areas near the border of the Gaza Strip.

According to this report, the retreat of the Zionist forces will facilitate the arrival of humanitarian aid and enable the return of displaced and unarmed civilians to their residential areas.

According to this agreement, on the 22nd day after the release of two-thirds of the Israeli prisoners, the occupying forces will withdraw from the center of the Gaza Strip to an area near the border, and the entry of large amounts of humanitarian aid, relief materials and fuel will be facilitated.

It is stated in this plan about how to release the Zionist prisoners that in the first stage, Hamas releases at least 33 male and female prisoners, including civilians, female soldiers, children, the elderly, sick and wounded, and on the other hand, the Zionist regime releases 20 children and women for each Israeli prisoner based on the lists provided.

Also, the Zionist regime frees 40 Palestinian prisoners from its prisons for every female soldier. (20 of those sentenced to life imprisonment and 20 of those sentenced to long-term imprisonment based on the lists provided by Hamas) and the exchange process is related to the degree of compliance with the provisions of the agreement, including the cessation of operations, redeployment of forces and return of displaced persons.

This report adds, in this plan proposed by the United Nations, its agencies and international organizations will provide humanitarian services in all areas of the Gaza Strip during the agreement stages, and the reconstruction of infrastructure in the areas of the Gaza Strip will begin.

According to this plan, from the 14th day of the agreement, the agreed number of military wounded will be allowed to travel through the Rafah crossing for treatment.

According to this report, the second phase will be extended for 42 days and includes the finalization of the agreement on the necessary arrangements for the return of stable peace and its entry into force.

Also, the third stage lasts for 42 days and includes the exchange of all the bodies and remains of the dead from the parties after reaching them and identifying them.

In the third phase of this proposed plan, the implementation of the five-year reconstruction plan of the Gaza Strip will begin, including houses, civilian facilities and infrastructure, and the Palestinian side will not import any equipment, raw materials or other components used for military purposes.

At the end of this report, it is stated that Qatar, Egypt and the United States will guarantee the implementation of this agreement.

On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance groups launched the “Al-Aqsa Storm” operation from Gaza against the positions of the Israeli regime, and finally, after 45 days of fighting and conflict, a four-day temporary ceasefire was established on November 24, 2023, or the pause for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel.

This pause in the war continued for seven days, and finally, on the morning of Friday, December 1, 2023, the temporary ceasefire ended and the Israeli regime resumed attacks against Gaza.

In order to compensate for its failure and stop the resistance operations, this regime has closed the crossings of the Gaza Strip and is bombing this area.
